Lawson Fresh – Service Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Lawson Fresh. Our goal is to provide high-quality home services delivered with professionalism, care, and transparency. Please review the following Terms & Conditions carefully. Approval of a quote, scheduling of services, or submission of payment constitutes full agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
GENERAL TERMS (Applies to All Services)
1. Acceptance of Terms (No Signature Required)
By approving a quote, scheduling service, or submitting payment, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full. No physical signature is required for this agreement to be binding.
2. Customer Responsibilities
The client agrees to:

Ensure all doors and windows are fully closed during exterior services

Remove vehicles, furniture, decorations, and fragile items from service areas
-
Keep pets and children safely indoors during service
-
Provide clear access to work areas, water sources, and laundry pickup locations
-
Properly bag or secure laundry items prior to pickup
Lawson Fresh is not responsible for damage resulting from failure to meet these responsibilities.
3. Water, Utilities & Electrical Disclaimer
The client grants Lawson Fresh permission to use exterior water sources and electrical outlets as needed. Lawson Fresh is not responsible for damage related to non-GFCI outlets, aging wiring, defective fixtures, or equipment failures due to pre-existing conditions.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due the same day services are completed unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, and electronic payments.
Late Payments

A late fee of up to 10% per week may apply to unpaid balances

Invoices unpaid after 5 days may be sent to collections
-
The client agrees to cover reasonable collection costs, attorney fees, and court costs
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled service may be charged up to 50% of the quoted price
-
Lawson Fresh reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond its control
6. Satisfaction & Service Limitations
Lawson Fresh strives for high-quality results; however:
-
Some stains or damage cannot be fully corrected
-
Older surfaces may not return to “like-new” condition
-
Cleaning may expose existing damage previously hidden by dirt, algae, or oxidation
These outcomes do not constitute service failure.
7. Liability & Indemnification
Lawson Fresh is not liable for:
-
Pre-existing damage
-
Structural defects
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Damage resulting from aging or improperly installed materials
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Lawson Fresh from claims arising from services performed, except in cases of proven negligence.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
EXTERIOR CLEANING SERVICES TERMS
9. Scope of Exterior Services
Lawson Fresh provides residential exterior cleaning services, including but not limited to:

Pressure washing and soft washing
-
Gutter cleaning
-
Deck, fence, driveway, sidewalk, and exterior surface cleaning
-
Optional seasonal lawn care
All services are performed using industry-standard equipment, materials, and procedures.
10. Exterior Cleaning – Services & Expectations
Lawson Fresh uses sodium hypochlorite (SH) solutions and other standard cleaning agents.
The client understands and agrees that:

Wood surfaces may lighten and experience minor fiber lift
-
Some surfaces may change in appearance due to age, oxidation, or pre-existing conditions
-
Certain stains (rust, oil, artillery fungus, battery acid, heavy oxidation, or long-standing mildew) may not be fully removable
-
Cleaned surfaces should not be walked or driven on for at least 4 hours after service
11. Pre-Existing Conditions & Photo Documentation
The client authorizes Lawson Fresh to take before-and-after photos for documentation, quality control, and liability protection.
Lawson Fresh is not responsible for pre-existing damage including but not limited to:

Loose or damaged siding
-
Failing paint or sealants
-
Cracked or chipped concrete
-
Deteriorated wood or structures
-
Oxidation, rust, algae staining, or faded surfaces
-
Improperly installed or aging materials
Cleaning may reveal existing damage previously hidden by dirt or organic growth.
12. Landscaping & Chemical Exposure Disclaimer
Lawson Fresh takes reasonable precautions to protect landscaping; however, the client acknowledges:

Cleaning agents may cause temporary or permanent discoloration to plants
-
Wind, runoff, and overspray cannot always be fully controlled
-
Stressed, dry, or diseased vegetation may react unpredictably
Lawson Fresh is not liable for landscaping damage unless caused by clear and documented negligence.
13. Windows, Glass, & Oxidation Disclaimer
Lawson Fresh is not responsible for:

Window spotting caused by hard water or pre-existing conditions
-
Scratches, ghosting, or haze caused by oxidation or fabrication debris
-
Oxidation removal exposing lighter surfaces beneath
-
Damage from faulty, aging, or improperly installed windows or frames
14. Roof Cleaning Notice (If Applicable)

Soft washing may remove moss, algae, debris, and loose granules
-
Granule loss is normal on aging roofs
-
Lawson Fresh is not responsible for roofs nearing the end of their service life or containing hidden defects
LAUNDRY SERVICES TERMS & CONDITIONS
15. Laundry Service Description
Lawson Fresh provides residential laundry pickup and delivery services, including wash, dry, and fold using standard care practices unless special instructions are provided at pickup.
16. Laundry Pricing & Turnaround Options
Standard Service
-
$1.25 per pound
-
24-hour turnaround (pickup today, return next day)
Express / Expedited Service
-
$2.25 per pound
-
Same-day service or next-morning return for late pickups
-
Subject to availability, timing, load size, and operational capacity
Turnaround times are estimates and may change due to volume, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
17. Detergents, Soaps, & Special Instructions
-
Laundry is washed using standard commercial detergents (Tide or comparable) and fabric softener sheets
-
Clients may provide their own detergent or specialty products at pickup
-
Any unused products will be returned with the order
-
Special requests (no heat, low heat, etc.) must be clearly communicated at pickup
Lawson Fresh is not responsible for outcomes caused by fabric limitations or manufacturer defects.
18. Folding, Hangers, & Packaging

Folded laundry is the default service
-
Hanger service is available if the client provides hangers
-
Laundry is returned in clear, see-through bags
-
Provided hangers are included in final weight
19. Weighing & Billing
-
Laundry is weighed after washing, drying, and folding
-
Final weight includes all returned items and hangers
20. Security Deposit & Payment Process
-
A $20 security deposit is required prior to pickup
-
Deposit is applied toward final invoice
-
Remaining balance must be paid before laundry is returned
21. Non-Payment, Forfeiture & Abandoned Property
-
If payment is not received within 3 calendar days of invoice issuance, laundry is forfeited
-
Forfeited laundry will not be returned
-
Unpaid laundry is considered abandoned property
22. Laundry Limitations & Liability
The client acknowledges:
-
Lawson Fresh is not responsible for pre-existing wear, fading, weak seams, missing buttons, or manufacturer defects
-
Items unsuitable for machine washing may be declined or cleaned at the client’s risk
-
All pockets must be emptied prior to pickup
-
Liability is limited to reasonable replacement value, not exceeding the service cost
